I describe that at the start as just being a ring of tissue I cut and taped to it. If someone wanted to just use some small desklamps or other LEDs, they likely could get a decent lighting setup as well. Anymore I admit I am in a hurry typically and just use the setup near a window to let ambient light hit the coin. Sometimes I angle an LED flashlight onto it the far-from-window edge of the coin if I see a dark area at the point furthest from the window. If it is a bright day outside I typically find I don't need anything extra. How much squash could a Sasquatch squash if a Sasquatch would squash squash?
