Are we sure this is even the same coin? The new pics indicate cleaning. So, AU-Details for me.

Definitely the same coin, but very deceptive seller photos that hid the hairlines. I'd say Unc details.

My thoughts are that the coin is Unc. I see no wear on this coin. Hairlines are found only in the obverse fields and on none of the devices. To me they look like die polishing marks as most show raised under the loupe and I think the TPGs will straight grade this one. Luster is booming, especially in the reverse. Overall ecstatic with this purchase.  |

I agree it looks uncirculated, and some of the hairlines in the right obverse field may be die polishing lines, but I'm not sure about the others. Can you get a close up of where the hairlines meet the right arm or body? Do they go right up to the devices?

Yes, I think that the pictures show clearly that the hairlines are raised and surprisingly liberty's head shows some doubling.   |

You've got the coin in hand, but from your pics, those don't look like die polishing lines to me. I'm still going with Unc details.

Ouch.
Looking at the new pics, I have to change my call to AU Details, 92 code (Cleaned).
Starting with the cleaning, look at Liberty's left arm and upper right arm. There are lengthwise scratches on her left arm from the elbow to the shoulder and fairly deep scratches on her upper right arm. These align in the same direction as the scratches in the fields. You could make a case that the deep scratches on her upper right arm align almost exactly with some of the scratches in the surrounding fields.
I think I see light wear on the wheat grains, along with discoloration on Liberty's cheek and legs.
This sure looked good in the first pics, but the in-hand pics don't lie. Hate to say it, but I'd send this one back.
Well, rats. Sorry about that. I sure see why you snagged it based on the seller's pictures, though. Shame on the seller for the deceptive pics.

first I need to apologize to BH1964 for his AU58 grade. I based on the photos presented and BH1964 saw through that. good job. New Photos I'm seeing a lot of die polishing. these lines are not crossing devices. how does one do that without hitting the devices. the only similar marks I see on a device is on the extended arm and none of the polish lines match up with that. the original photos were deceptive for sure. I have the coin at AU58 and the coin looks cleaned so I have to add the designation  I'm sure you would have looked at this coin differently had you seen the real photos. |

I am thinking those may be die polishing lines , Photos appear it maybe has been dipped but should straight grade.
Thinking AU-58 based on new pics.

If graded by NGC or PCGS, the following values: AU Details cleaned - $350 UNC Details cleaned - $650 AU 58 - $650
