Not sure how common Chase large notes are,i don't have any large notes so that would be an interesting addition.

VERY common. One of the most common national banks so high grade notes can be found for reasonably cheap. There should be a decent selection out there.

I do have interest in NBN from other banks too,but it's all about condition first, and many in the condition I'm interest in are going for a lot more than I'm willing to spend at this time.

If you get into the world of nationals, condition is usually secondary for most. You have to take what you can get, especially when there may be, for example, less than 10 notes known for a particular bank. Many banks only have notes less than VF.

We used to refer to the huge small size NBN issuers like Chase and B of A as "twice face notes" - that is, only worth twice face if not uncirculated. Not the case anymore, I'm sure.

@ghonk - You think $1,850 is WAY more than your limit of $1,600 for this note? Sounds like a very fair price to me. A number 1 note for one of the largest banks in the world, and you're letting $250 stop you?

LOL,no,it was about $1600 MORE than I was looking to spend.
My entire collection at that time didn't cost that much.

Unless I win the lottery almost 2 grand for a note is never going to happen, that's for sure.

I'm still trying to justify spending $250-$300 each on some of the notes I want in the condition I'm looking for.
