I think this was the 750 (Jani Beg, Sagdeeva 243).

I looked it up on Zeno, and 750 is correct! The 50 is retrograde near center towards 9h, and the 7 should be around 6h but I can't quite see if it's visible.

It looks like 1348 (749 AH) is another gap, unless someone here had obtained one since I've done the calculations.

Excellent coin!

...I checked Zeno and there's no problem with the match; the date looks definite as far as I can tell.

I believe our next expected gap is 1345?

I doubt another will show, so I am changing the title now. I do not want to forget when I return tomorrow.

Outstanding!

Thanks all, just doing the small stuff. I got lucky with a group of 3 coins, one of which was this one. The other two (743 and 746) are Mamluks as well, but not critical like the 749AH. I think you're correct @ j1m, the 745AH (1344) may be a sticking point.

Undated but attributed to 1347 grosso "guelfo" of Florence:

CNI (Vol. XII, p. 44) dated this type to 2d half of 1346, but apparently more recent scholarship (MIR and Bernocchi catalogs neither of which I have) pushed the date range to 1st half of 1347, since this is where I see the major Italian auction houses dating it:
