What do you think to this? Any contact marks you can see are as light as possibly can be, and the coin has wonderful lustre under patches of toning. I'm sending it to NGC.

GEF British grading .
Along with 1902 & 1910 quite a common date .
Would not worry about grading it .
The grading costs and postage
would likely be equal to the value
of the coin .

I have submitted it actually because in hand it looks MS63. If it comes back AU58, so be it :)

gEF/AU - Light rubbing on hair directly above his ear

Some light wear spots on the crown puffy bit (I forgot what you call it, you know the cushion thing in between the coronet ring). The bit below the orb is faint.

Otherwise a great coin, nice lustre and some toning on it. These AU coins can be deceiving as they look so nice and many can pass them as MS.

Please don't send it to NGC and get it slabbed. I have no idea why this American fad is catching on in our corner of the world (British Commonwealth).

I love COINS!!!

I'm not seeing the wear so I'll go MS-62.
