MS-62RB sounds right. Spotting detracts.

MS-62RB But I really dislike it's eye appeal with all those spots . Not an MS 14-D that I would buy at even a great price .

In Memory of Butch L.
and Jim U. rest in peace .

I'm okay with MS63. And yes, I'd buy it for <$30.

Thats one you don't see in MS on this forum very often spot or no spot its an MS coin rare very valuable and maybe 400 surive in true original mint state. Congratulations on your acquiring it...I have never held an MS 1914 D in my hand all the ones I own are brown LOL. I say MS62 RD.

Good details but enough bag marks and color to be MS 62RD. If it wasn't for the browning I suspect it would grade MS63RD

Thinking, if you have enough money to buy a '14-D in MS, why would this have any appeal? I would value it at less than a clean AU-55 or 58.

I can see a grading company going higher on this one maybe a MS64RB? I personally wouldn't want it as I try to stay away from carbon spotting.

My own grade is MS63RB
