hmmmmm, I don't think so this time. Others may have a better explanation, but for my mind, a die clash affects the flat background the most, as that is the highest point on a die.
Of course, I could be wrong!
I'll do a comparison later.

Just had a quick look no die clash there, the marks by her ear are just dings or bag marks. On the overlay that area of the reverse is the top of the 5. None of the other marks lines up with the devices of the echidna. Sorry...keep looking.

Yep, this one's not a die clash. As noted earlier, and in the thread with your actual die clash coin, a die clash will always appear on the lowest parts of the coin, because those are the highest parts of the die and therefore are the places where the die will take a hit when the two dies smash into each other.

Never thought about this until just now, but if the two die surfaces crash into each other, and both dies have the flat background as their highest points......how does say the 5 of the reverse, which is squirreled down at a low point, get to interfere with the flat surface of the obverse? or have I got covid brain fog?

The "5" isn't at a high point on the coin. Specifically, the field immediately surrounding that corner of the "5" on AC's other post - the one with the strong die clash - is a low point.
