Let me know what you guys think on this. I found it roll hunting and set it aside because it was in really good condition and it was black. I figured I'd put it here to get some opinions. Is it a BB or just a toned nickel?

Silviosi, it looks just like the obverse and reverse. Same color with no silver color showing at all. I'll upload a picture in a few.

Looks like a slightly damaged edge. On the out of collar coins, the area that was not in collar, will be not contained and thus expands more:








CoopHome: What dies a partial collar coin look like? outer edge of coin not in the collar will be showing enlargement wider that the rest of the edge of the coin

yes, that looks like a BB, and it has the soft, melted lettering often found on a BB
