I found a die crack on George's neck. I'm sharing the pictures so others can see it too. Are these even worth anything?

I'm not real familiar with quarters but as I stated in your other post, this is a weak spot and common area to see cracks on them. I would not think there was a premium for this coin but will let others speak to that.

It's always fun to come across something out of the ordinary. Congrats.

As MakeCents said, common area for cracks and very minor. No numismatic value above face. Useful piece for learning, but not worth saving unless you just like it. You will find many.

Common area for die cracks. Newbies go nuts for these. But once you become a seasoned collector, you accept them for what they are. (An aging die event) Then you will wonder, why they caught all you attention as a new collector?

@coop, I'm a newbie, so I get excited when I see die cracks. How do I actually know if my die crack is worth something?

that is a decent die crack - albeit in a very common area - but I still like to find them.
