Hi.. Do you think I can get at minimum AU on this 1909 VDB? It's hard to get a good photo because it has a lot of red and dark.

The pictures make the obverse look so dark I think Environmental Damage is present. The reverse looks fine and it is at high AU as far surface preservation.

Impossible to see the obverse surfaces with these photos. Reverse is definitely AU or better with nice eye appeal.

AU55/58 seems right. the biggest issue I see is all the scratches on the obverse. mainly across the face and the field in front of it under the toning. they are going to affect value
