Hi all, I'm still going through dads coin collection and found these coins. I've looked online and can't seem to find out anything about them. Can anyone enlighten me to what they are.. many thanks

A 1921 ½ penny with the center part replaced with a 1951 3 pence, and a 1920 penny with, similarly, a 1962 6 pence. Cool idea.

They are concoctions privately made by somebody as a novelty. You sometimes see them marketed as "seven pence coins" (or seven-halfpence, in the case of the smaller one).

Similar items occasionally for sale at coin shows. Scarce, but not rare. Produced commercially from existing pre decimal coins during the early 1970's.

There was an article in a recent Coin and Banknote magazine about one of the guys who makes these - I think it was in a small town in South Australia and he has recently retired.

Just came across one for sale on ebay and they're asking $10 + postage.
