Hi,

I could use a little help. I have a 1937 Wheat penny, but cannot find VDB anywhere on the coin and it weighs 2.88g. Is that common?

The VDB can be found on the lower right ( viewer's left) of the Abe's Bust. your may have been either wiped out due to circulation or simply abraded away at the mint.A photo will help getting the guesses out of the way.

Yes, full--large and sharp--pics of the obverse and reverse would be very welcome. Thanks.

Sorry. Was having issues with getting good pictures. I think it might just be worn as there may be something there. It's hard to say.

It's there. Always best to post pics of both sides of the whole coin
