Quote: This week I bought the AFL $1 coin set from Australia Post with the folder and tube for $45. A lovely set. Quote: I only had time to noodle once this week, and that was spent on $200 of 50 cents. No 1985, but I did find an NCLT which I don't have! Excellent! Quote: And finally, a Firefighters $2 coin which I got for $7! Very nice!

WEEK 26(26/06/23 - 02/07/23) Well, six months in for The Hunt of 23 and you could say I'm making considerable progress. So far, I've noodled most of the Great Aussie Coin Hunts 2 and 3 and I'm about halfway with GACH 1. Hopefully I will able to complete the Hunt by this year's end but coins like the Coronation $2 will need some effort to find. Anyway, this week I got a New Zealand 20c from 1977, a 2019 Bushranger $1 (NCLT) and a Y for Yabby $1 from 2021. (no photos as I am away from home) I was also given a small bag of foreign coins, including my first coins from Turkey and Croatia: Stats:One dollar coins still to find: 27/41(14) NCLT coins found: 28

WEEK 27(03/07/23 - 09/07/23) I was on holiday this week, but that didn't stop me from noodling some coins. The CBA machine I went to closed down access to non-business cards in June, but thanks to the "$100 a day" I managed to score a $100 sealed bag of 10 cent coins, of which yielded my second 1985, and four New Zealand 10 cents: And as a bonus, I managed to score one of the new $2 Matilda coins from Woolworths! No stats this week

WEEK 28(10/07/23 - 16/07/23) It has been a bumper week for this hunt. First my two trips to the coin shop yielded a lot of new adds. Try and guess which country coins I like the most Next, I bought some GACH $1 coins which helped fill in some gaps. And finally, the missing pieces to my 2016 $2 Olympic set! Now begins what I call the quiet phase: I can only noodle once every week for the next several weeks, and it's not easy to find a lot of keepers in $100 of $2 coins (50 coins) so I'm going to stop providing weekly updates on my hunt. I will make an update if I find something that week. Hopefully we can aim for 80% completion of the hunt by year's end! No stats this week
