Appears to be Machine Doubling. In my opinion, not worth submitting for grading. Others will come along to weigh-in.

Just Machine Doubling. Note the affected devices are reduced on the outside edge of the devices. A doubled die will show enlargement on the centers of the devices, not on the outer edge of the devices. Machine Doubling and extreme die wear is found on the outer edges of the devices. The devices will show enlargement on the centers of the devices. So look there, rather than where you are looking now. Enlargement? How to tell the differences? Note this strong DDR? Note how the devices are enlarged and the centers of the devices are even smaller than normal. So look at the devices, and not at the edges of the devices. Machine Doubling is common on the devices and has no premium for these. Centers of the devices.

Thanks. I guess I have to work on recognizing the difference between the two. :)

If it is step like, more times it will be Machine Doubling, also note that the devices will be smaller on raised devices.

For 1965 Phil you has 3 RDV's so 3 different Hubs. till now only RDV-003 and RDV-004 has the DDR. The hint on it is the Q in Quarter which it is doubling (hub doubling) bottom inside the inner circle. What you see upper the wing it is characteristic Die Crack. Bottom of the side wing you has Strike Doubling. The rest also Strike Doubling.

Thanks, but now I'm confused, lol. Do you mean there is doubling, but only on the G? If that's the case, I'm guessing it's still not worth grading?
Thanks again.

Not worth to grade. I state you do not has DDR here. Your coin it is RDV-005 which do not has DDR's. Who say something about G? I told you the Q it is the Hint to recognise very fast the RDV and also N in Unum. Those are hints and not errors or particular varieties. to grade this coin will be money put in the trash.

It looks like the circle is visible toward the bottom as well. I would guess coin counter machine damage. I have one, and I was so excited, got my bubble burst.

Machine Doubling, not worth grading fees, so no, don't bother sending it in for grading.
ça va bien aller

Most of the circulated coin varieties that are not worth slabbing. Unless they are worth a lot more than the slab fees. $50 dollars is a lot to shell out for a coin worth less than the fee to has it entombed. (Spend with fees and shipping for X amount and get back just part of the fee when you sell it, is not worth it to me away.
