Looks like they are charging 75 cents per month now for a PLUS to get unlimited saves and ad free. $4.95 gets you PREMIUM full access to pixlr suite, assets, templates and is ad free. Not sure if any of the premium is needed for what people use it for here, but 75 cents is reasonable enough for the plus if thats all thats needed to not dump it but needs to be added to the info so users know. Whichever of the programs above mentioned people like could also be mentioned.

I really like photoscape - it is a very good image tool to use for special functions.

Yes but not as good for the basics like rectangle crop, image resizing, adjusting colors. For that as mentioned I prefer fastone image viewer. I've tried most of the others mentioned and its better but everyone of course likes what they have learned/are used to first - change is hard :)

I have to say I'm relieved that it isn't just on my end, because if you can mess it up, I'm your man. Computers and I don't jive. Hope this doesn't become an issue.

Back in the day - maybe around 2015-ish - I googled around and found a website that looked like it must have been what the CCF optimizer (at the time) was a fork of.
I don't recall what it name was... something fairly generic, I think... and my recent attempts didn't find it again. It's possible that it no longer functions.
