Hey folks

I am very interested in selling on our forum.

The issue is anyone with 50 posts can purchase.

Is it against the rules to ask for someone that is interested to be well known and a long time member?.

My worry is the same as anyone, getting ripped off.

I am not aware of anyone ever getting ripped off in the thousands of sales conducted here.

NumismaticsFTW, a perusal of a potential buyer's posting history should allow you to decide if a buyer is serious. I've bought from other forum members with never a problem. Also, it's the buyer that is at greater risk because payment is required up front. Additionally, avoiding paying a 3rd party 10% or more (the bay, for instance) allows for better deals on both sides.
