Just wanted to say hello...I've been a lurker here for some time and finally decided to post here for the first time today. I've been very active in other forums for some time though. I'm Kurisu in other forums. I've been searching coin rolls since the 1970's and am a somewhat eclectic collector. I send things off for grading very regularly and I claim to think I know a few things I frequent the ANA Money Museum in Colorado Springs (it's about an hour away for me and I'm a long time ANA member). I also have a YouTube channel that's goes by the same as my user name here. Looking forward to enjoying this forum with all of you!

Do you belong to the Denver Coin Club? I belonged for a while, a few years ago. Isn't the Springs museum fascinating? Did you see the Harry W. Bass, Jr. collection there. His collection was mouth-dropping! We moved to Montana a few years ago. Just got tired of the traffic besides, we retired. Was in the Front Range for 40 years! It's just not like it used to be but, then again, where is? Welcome to the CCF! There's lots of great knowledge here!

Thanks everyone!!! Happy to be here Quote: Do you belong to the Denver Coin Club? I belonged for a while, a few years ago. Isn't the Springs museum fascinating? Did you see the Harry W. Oh yes...I often referred to the Harry Bass Jr. collection as quite simply "brain melting" lol. Was so fortunate I got to see it many times and introduced a handful of new and old collectors to it...took many photos of nearly every coin in the gallery over the years. I've been in Colorado since '92. A little taste...since you asked

Quote: A little taste...since you asked Oh my...those photos just took me back to my happy memories lane! His collection was so amazing! Thank you so much for posting the pics! I was sad when they auctioned his collection but, the proceeds did go to good causes. I can't even imagine collecting what he managed to do in his lifetime! https://www.ha.com/information/harr...collection.sHis collection was even better than seeing the 1933 Double Eagles at the Convention Center a few years ago. Although, they were very cool to view.

Welcome, move from the Springs "Colorado Springs, that's what it's called in Colorado" to the Western Slope " the west side of the continental divide". Long time member of the ANA and CSCC "Colorado Springs Coin Club".
