@yesorno
I did not realize that you had posted the new march 2023 releases so I deleted my post. Thank you!!!
NOTE: There will be no new 2023 coins for circulation this year.
ALSO: The silver and gold incuse coins will have rhodium plating

@New1954. Was there an official announcement that there will be no new 2023 coins for circulation this year? I've seen a message that there will be no circulation coins with Queen's effigy in 2023, but it did not say anything about all circulation coins

@New1954, I happened to be free when I received the release email. Sorry to hear that you had to delete your post.
The gold incuse coin is already sold out. I'm still debating whether this coin is cool or mediocre: there is already a 2020 gold coin with gold maple leaf and black rhodium background. What does everyone think?

Quote: I've seen a message that there will be no circulation coins with Queen's effigy in 2023, but it did not say anything about all circulation coins From Canadian Coin and Currency: While the Royal Canadian Mint normally issues a collector set each year featuring high quality uncirculated examples of all the regular design coins, the Mint has announced that it will wait for a new obverse design (presumably featuring King Charles III) before issuing any new 2023 circulation coins.

Silver Maple Leaf Incuse awaiting stock at RCM despite increase in mintage from 7000 to 8000 for this year. But still available at other dealers like Cdn Coin Currency.

Also received Super Incuse Silver Maple Leaf today. It's a bit expensive, but I wasn't disappointed.

Noticed that the Forevermark Diamond gold and silver "coins" do not include the "special marking that includes four pearls symbolizing the four effigies that have graced Canadian coins and the double date of her reign." (Per the Mint web site images.) The pieces include the dual dates "1952 / 2022" but not the dots/pearls. It makes no difference to me - I'm not an interested buyer - but I did find their omission a bit odd.
Maybe the images are incorrect and the "coins" actually have the pearls?
