Found this one cent 2018 D in my wife's cup holder in her car. I can't find it anywhere on Wexler or Vista. Note all the split serifs and apparent "doubling" . A couple of the photos are sideways to show that the lighting didn't change the doubling or split serif. Natural lighting to avoid reflections. Thanks for your opinions.. Jim

I can not say Yes or NOT. Some letters show me the normal fading of the platted coins. But many show clear split a major Doubling? We see others what say. IMHO this coin must be analyze in hand. For me it is a very good spotting.

do you see this with a magnifier 5x, 10x or 15x?

Way too much glare. By the date looks like DDD,the rest looks like light induced doubling.
( I'm no pro, it's just my humble opinion )

Correct. DDD. Single squeeze dies, with die wear showing on the fields areas.

And it get worse with more and more strikes.
