Received a 2023 Canadian Collector's edition Non-circulation set from the CA mint. There might be 50K of these made, but this one is mine :)

Excerpt from CA Mint site:

"Exceptionally for 2023, this set is a rare opportunity to see the classic Canadian coin designs you know and love, stamped with this year's date ("2023") in a non-circulation version. As we focus our attention on commemorating the reign of Queen Elizabeth II (1952-2022), the Mint will not be issuing any 2023-dated Canadian circulation coins featuring both the traditional reverse designs and an obverse featuring Queen Elizabeth II. Instead, we struck a limited collector's edition for each of the six Canadian coin denominations ($2, $1, 50¢, 25¢, 10¢, 5¢), and you get one of each in this special set."

"Transition obverse
Each coin's obverse is double-dated ("1952-2022") to commemorate the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. It is also marked by four pearls symbolizing the four effigies that have graced Canadian coins during that time."

I FINALLY got my set in the mail today. I had almost forgotten that I had bought it!

Also, I was surprised that I had to sign for the delivery. I didn't have to sign for the silver proof set, so this boggles me.

Maybe that is something new? I didn't have to sign for delivery.

I have found that if I order on line I have to sign for delivery and if I order by phone with a rep I'm not required to sign for the delivery. (US delivery if that makes a difference)

I have had to sign for some lower value coins and not for higher value. Also US delivery.
