Curious as to what others think about the assigned grade and general appearance of this coin currently listed.

Nice coin! First thoughts were undergraded or ICCS netgrading due to cleaning. But zoomed in and think the ef40 is about right, but a really nice ef40. Just a touch too much wear for AU.

Grade seems about right, but it's hard to see the surface details clearly in these pics.

Grade is good at EF40.
Pics aren't very good.
Can't really assess luster, toning, or surface details.
For full trends price I would expect one with great eye appeal, or undergraded.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Pics show the coin in a better light (pardon the pun).

That said, it's an NGC AU, but I wouldn't get excited as a Canadian collector will still give you EF money for it.

Some definite wear around the band of the crown for example. Hard to tell whether it should be higher without being able to see what sort of shape the surfaces are in.

Too much wear on the Obv crown, his hair and mustache to be AU. XF-40 looks right, maybe a 40+

First thoughts, looks cleaned/dipped.
