That obverse looks comparable to the Canadian gold coin. That being said, Liz doesn't look right. May be a knock off. The blank reverse is odd.

A Pic from ebay without the frosted Queen (obv). Looks quite close, If it had been a pocket since 1984, but doesn't explain the fully blank reverse

Looks kinda like a uniface trial, but not very good quality. Maybe it's a knock off uniface of some type?
