I found this penny with what looks like dripping metal,some on the queens forehead and around edges , might be die chips ? If anyone could help thanks !

Hmmm thanks, still not sure though ,towards the RCM logo the beads seem to be struck off a bit and could a soldering gun alter the actual copper in the penny like that ? ..don't know if its worth sending in to ICCS just a cool piece I guess thanks again

Try a soak in pure acetone to see if the substance dissolves. Not worth sending in this state.

Definitely not worth sending to ICCS, as it is not error, and even if it were, they don't certify errors.

Thanks everyone ! Yea definitely not sending , or soaking as its not something that will wipe off ..in person you can see its part of the coin colors would be off also ..i also found this through old pennies last night obviously just damaged but curious as to what would cause this queen face to be missing
