My 5 eagles landed Thursday and I just sent off 2 of them to PCGS! Other three go to nephews for Christmas gifts.

morgans dad, I'd still like to know what the problem was with that one ASE of yours.

Hondo, I received My 6 ASE's, of which 5 were Flawless, The Balance of the same, Picture a PROOF finished coin, Specks and Spots on the SHINY Planchet, showing worn dies or Wear. The UNCIRCULATED finish does NOT show in a Photo, Like the PROOF's Wear would, However, The Last coin was Heavily specked and While I will KEEP them All, I am Still amazed, How " Random " the Orders are .........Always order Extras....

@morgans dad I was happy with all three of them. I know what it's like to receive a questionable coin. I've been ordering a lot of Brilliant Uncirculated Franklins and a couple of times five coins looked really good and one coin didn't measure up. I know the seller determines the grade and sometimes they'll sneak one in.

I've been working on the Franklin sets for a while and I'm anxious to finish. These are the coins I need to complete three sets of Brilliant Uncirculated Franklins:
1952-S (3) 1957 (3) 1959 (3) 1960 (3) 1961 (3) 1963 (3)
There are five years from San Francisco, all years except 1955 and 1956 from Denver and all years from Philadelphia with no mint mark. So I'm nearing the end.

morgans dad, thanks for the update! I ordered only 1 and it was certainly acceptable. I usually only order the proofs, so although it doesn't measure up to those standards it's still a very fine coin. Sorry to hear that 16.7% of your order was substandard. For what the Mint charges for these, I would be quite peeved.

Hondo, While I hold the U S Mints to a Very High Standard, They're Worst coins, Are Still a Very Sweet American Manufactured Coins.... I would Love to see your FRANKLIN Set, Mine was Not Too Difficult, Enjoy The Hunts....
