The DDR is affected on these areas: 1958-D DDO-001 The reason all the other devices look like your coin, it that the description tells you what to look for on this variety. All the other devices are normal. All the other devices look the same?" a doubled die is identified by the hub doubling on the die. if the die is normal, it will not show the hub doubling. Also another clue when matching doubled dies are the location of the mintmarks on the pre 1990 coins. not the same location as the listed one? not that doubled die. If the mintmark was a match, the hub doubling would also have to be a match first. So a doubled die is noted by the hub doubling on the die, thus the termed "Doubled Die." Without the hub doubling it could be Machine Doubling or die wear. But the hub doubling on the coin has to be a match in order to be a doubled die.
