2023 P Lincoln cent DDR (Strongest on JFM)
I came across my first 2023 Lincoln cents this week! Whoop Whoop!

In one of the mixed rolls was this with decent thickness on JFM.
Some thickness on LB and the base of the letters of USA.

Hope my images show the doubling well enough.

Cannot tell if is abrasions or Die Deterioration from the pics, but there is something else going on here and not sure if it's a doubled die. You know as much as I do though, probably more....

Just what I see.

I don't know, I keep looking at this and am not sure. More than anywhere, I do like the shot you have of ERICA. How about EPU? Does it have the typical thin, distorted look of the shield DDR?

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the input.

Even though this is only a MDS coin that's no guarantee there isn't Die Deterioration going on.

But there is also thickness on the base of the letters of the motto, USA. That thickness is towards the center.
The distorted thickness of JFM reminds me of some odd thickness on some modern coins. (TRUST on the 2017P DDO-001 comes to mind. )

There is some weakness to the edge of the shield below the N (CENT). I'm not sure if that might be related to any of the distortion or thickness to JFM but whatever caused the shield weakness wouldn't affect the lite thickness at USA.

Anyways, hopefully others will have some insight to add.
