I would like to add a ninth page for my silver quarters 1950-1964, SMS 1965-1967 and 1982 Type I & II proofs. Is this possible? Will I need a longer screw? Has anyone done this before? When I loosened the screws it just kept turning and did not release. I don't want to damage this newer album.

The Dansco 1-1/4" album was made to hold eight pages max. Both my 8140 and 8100 (LWC/LMC) albums have eight pages and look full.

I tried to put a ninth page in the 8100. The posts are just long enough, but the album would not close flat. I ended up putting that page with my 2008 cents all the 2009 cents into another "miscellaneous" album.

The 8140 album holds 1932 - 1998 Quarters with proofs. And In mine, I have 9 pages in it now with no issues. I did not need to get a longer post for it, but if it is stripped, you can get new ones here:

Just measure the one you have and be sure to use the guide on the left side to get what you need. Also make sure they are the flat head (low-profile) so the album will close properly

If you want help with a good layout for the 9th page, you can see what I did with my 8140 album:

(you can always find this link in my signature as well.)

Your album closes and fits into the slipcase with the ninth page? I suppose since mine is nearly thirty years old, the tolerances have changed a bit.

If so, I may need to experiment with my Innovation Dollar album, since it uses a newer 1-1/4" binder.

Yep, it closes just like normal, fits the slipcase with no issues too.

There was one album I added many pages to, and had to upgrade to the next larger size slipcase. Trying to remember which one it was, I'll go check and let you know.

It was the 8146 and 8147 Quarter albums I have 8 pages in them, but were designed to fit a 1" case, with the extra pages, I had to get a 1 1/8" case for it, but it still closes properly.

here is a list of Dansco albums, and the slipcases they are 'supposed' to fit into.
