Very cleaver approach. Your coin must be see in hand to weight. One thing is sure is no acid involved. Same color taches could be see between 9 and 7, inclusive the bottom of the 7. When you present the coin to this Mr./ Ms. ask to look close to the neck of the president (front and back) From the photos I can not see very well what it is. An TV photo will be Ok but you has to have this equipment.
