1985 P Lincoln Cent With 4 Die Cracks

allcoinsaregood Pillar of the Community United States 569 Posts	Posted 06/07/2023 12:06 pm Hello Coin Collectors, I have for your inspection a 1985 P Lincoln Cent with 4 Die Cracks all on the reverse of the coin. Located on both lower foundations, the left one is weak but there. The right one is very visible. On the left roof line to across the T in United to the rim. The fourth Die Crack is from the right roof across the leg of the R in America to the rim. It has been pointed out to me on multible occasions these are pressure points of the Lincoln strike. First 1985 I have found with this many die cracks! Nothing of note on the obverse. Take a look at the pics and let me know your thoughts an as always regards. Report this Post to the Staff

The brand is Moysuwe which cost about 120 dollars. I got the 6 inch extension so I could expand yhe focal length to allow for half and dollar focus on the stage. The device has up to 12 megapixel resolution and two gooseneck LED lamps to illuminate the coin. Works well enough to capture photo the coin! Report this Post to the Staff

The clarity is pretty good, but Liberty on a penny is about the most I can view at one time. If I'm still on the hobby next year, I might have to upgrade to a setup like yours. Thanks for the info!
