Was looking at one at TNA this past weekend that was VF details/cleaned, this is a much nicer example.

I think VF35 is good here.

I think it falls just shy of XF-40. If there were such a grade I would call it VF-38 or simply VF+. Super coin, CONGRATS!

Is it a VAM of any kind? I am not good at grading, but I think it grades about a 40.

I think I am seeing small bits of luster in the protected areas. Going with XF-40

There is only one obverse and two reverse dies used on the 1893 S. No extra value on VAM. This example is the upright centered S mint mark VAM 1.

It does appear lightly cleaned but assuming it straight graded then VF35 or 30 on a bad day.

I purchased this coin 8 years ago and paid $4700. It still is the most expensive coin that I have purchased. In hand at today's grading standards the coin looks XF40 as there is still some cart wheel luster on the reverse. Thanks for the grades.
