Australian 20cent Piece [sd Initials Question]

But that would be an error, not a deliberate omission. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. I thought as much so however I have a 1966 and 1968 20 cent piece which very clearly doesn't have the SD initials, the queen effigy also is differnt size on both the coins. As for the counterfeit theory, I don't think 20 cents was worth counterfeiting, even back in 1968. Can't say I've heard of any instances of it. Have you checked the weight? The bust on the right hand coin is marginally higher, stamped ever so slightly off-centre, but the size of each is the same. It would add no extra value.
