You know @gene that is a very good question. I don't know the Canadian coin market at all so will defer to those folks North of the border to weigh in on value. I can tell you that for some years, this sorta thing was super-common with US cents and small regions of laminations like you have here probably don't add much to the numismatic value. Generally, we recommend that folks keep it secure in a 2x2 until an even better example comes around. Sorry that I can't be more help with specific thoughts for the Canadian market.

Post war coins (Cu alloys)) has alot of exfoliation (lam what the folks use). Is revative common and could be 1 to 2 $ depending of the buyer. Your coin has minor ones. More drastic exfoliations could bring more premium.

I'll keep laminations if I find them, but not an error I would purchase unless really large. Bigger is better with errors!
