I got a little surprise this week out of one bankroll of pennies, a 1942 P Mercury dime covered with dirt and glue. It required an overnight soak in acetone to see what it was because of the glue and dirt. This is the first Mercury dime I have found in coin roll hunting, exciting. The obverse is dark but the reverse required an extra overnight soak to remove excess glue and what looked like paper on it. No mintmark that I could see on the reverse, but the obverse had a small W near the bottom of the bust of Mercury! Look at the photos' and let me know your thoughts. Regards to all.
