I think this probably belongs in this forum.
I'm an ASE collector primarily, although I do have a good amount of Walkers.
In 2021 I assume most of your are aware, the ASE had the obverse updated to take it to something more reflecting the original design.
Does anyone know, is the 2021 redesign more reminiscent of the Walking Liberty half design, or is it more like the original sculpting? I'm not sure how different the half was from the original sculpting.

"a design that is now a closer reflection of Weinman's original vision"
I'm fairly well read as far as the original Weinman design vs the redesign.
What I'm curious about is how close the original design was to the Walking Liberty half.
It seems like the current (type 2) ASE must be really close to the plasters. Were the Walking Liberty halfs very close to them though?
I'm guessing, based on nothing, that the Walking Liberty half design was probably closer to the type 1 ASE, and that the type 2 is closer to the original plasters.
