I'm not sure if there's even anything illegal about owning or selling a coin die (unless it's the property of a mint). It's all about what you do with it.

Expanding on my previous comment, I suppose in US law it depends on whether this qualifies as an "imitation numismatic item." Also, as the seller if you _know_ that you're selling it to someone who manufactures fake coins, it would violate the "substantial assistance" clause. That would probably be difficult to prove though. Quote: It shall be a violation of the Act and the regulations promulgated thereunder for a person to provide substantial assistance or support to any manufacturer, importer, or seller of imitation numismatic items, or to any manufacturer or importer of imitation political items, if that person knows or should have known that the manufacturer, importer, or seller is engaged in any practice that violates the Act and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
