Quote: Not too bad for a random find in a box of old coins in England. I think you're mixing it up with that shilling (I think) found a while back; larsjan's coin was from an old collection in the Netherlands.

First of all, Many congratulations to Larsjan on the fantastic sale of his coin.
And also congratulations to Nickrulecreator @ $2,543,000.00 whom was closest to the final hammer price including buyers premium of $2,520,000.00. I will await Nickrulecreator's address and ship out the prize upon receiving it.
Nickrulecreator was $23,000 away from the correct price. Jason39305 was $120,000.00 away from the correct price. And I was $59,830.83 away from the correct price.
Thanks everyone for playing

Nickrulecreator has the forum email turned off, and according to the stats, his last visit to the site was the day he placed his guess August 9th.
Anyone know him or how to contact him?

Quote: Nickrulecreator has the forum email turned off AFAIK this is by default for accounts with less than 50 posts (though maybe in their case they also deliberately turned the option off). I hope they remember to get back here; contacting accounts with less than 50 posts is very complicated (this is why most contests limit entry to 50+ post accounts).

No restriction on new members receiving email, but it is opt-in. I turned it on.
