There have been plenty of nice British tokens here. Here is a French one for a change (although minted in Britain  .) France 1792, 5 sols. Minted in Soho, Birmingham at Matthew Boulton's mint, for the Monneron brothers.  Hercules was one of the ancient symbols popularized by the French revolutionaries. Here he has been tasked with demonstrating the difficulty of breaking a fasces consisting of many united straws. The message is clarified by the text "The French united are invincible."
