I have a LOT of bicentennial quarters but this 1976 bicentennial looks to be my best. Curious what you think. Not great I know.....

I'm not sure about the exact grade, but it's AU or a bit lower. The primary tell is the color difference on George's lower neck and the cheek/ear area. It appears lighter because of circulation wear reducing the original mint luster in those areas so they look more gray and are less reflective.
There is also a large vertical scratch across Washington's head that may drop this below AU, but I'm not sure what the rules are.

Girlinlove,
Just so you know, only high-grade ones (MS68 or higher) are worth keeping. Everyone hoarded them when they first came out including me. But after a while I spent most of mine because they were only worth face value.

if you are attempting to learn how to grade circulated coins then this one looks AU50 to me. if you are attempting to find a coin in circulation that has any value that's not common. all of these ads, promotions etc. you see, some are just completely fake and most of the remaining ones are extremely rare.

you could spend years finding one. not worth your time unless you're bored and you need to know what you are looking for

learn how to grade coins. use this site to match your coin

Photograde is very helpful for being able to compare a coin from one step in grade to the next to see what changed. Over time, you'll discover what parts of what coin will be the first to be affected by wear. Those are then the first places to look when determining a coin's grade or amount of circulation. This, of course, is unique to each coin design.
