I've had this canadian 25 cent coint with a date, I believe to be 1917 with a die crack but I have been unable to find another one similar or to find out if this is unusual or common. I love Canadian coins and have been curious as to what something like this could be valued at? Thank you everyone.

Die cracks are very common in large cents, because they are hard bronze, but not so common with silver coins. Depending on the grade of the steel, the dies last a long time. However, during periods of war, steel was being used for war-time with tanks, armament, etc. WWII dies cracked/wore greatly, but I imagine WWI dies did somewhat as well. Normally die cracks add little, if no value, and usually detract from it. I guess your crack is between the leaf tips at 1-2:00, which is where they occur ... from a sharp angle to another sharp angle. Nice coin though
