I have a 1852 Liberty Gold Coin. Below the wreath I have the letter R (photos attached). I have found other letters in this forum including the letter O but have found none with the letter R. Is anyone able to help me identify this coin. Many thanks

I moved your post to a better section of the forum.
Might need to know the weight and size of the coin. Maybe the R means reproduction?

My bet is the "R" most likely stands for replica.

Just a quick glance at the rim indicates non-genuine cast.

There are no genuine US coins that contain an R mint mark.

@Billie Baxter No such a thing as a R mint mark. As stated before, a replica coin, perhaps gold plated.
