On my nickel spree, this was the coin I wanted most of all. I knew there was a pre-cud from the auction pics but didn't expect what I saw when I had the coin in hand. Would it be alright to give this coin a good acetone soak? I find getting the fine grime off helps to see finer points on coins.

There isn't a nickel quite like this one on Cuds on Coins so I hope JC takes a look at this one.

I hadn't looked at shattered dies but yeah it seems to fit.
