I remember reading David Hall's advice and it went along the lines of buy the nicest coin that you can afford. I kind of agree with that advice. As far as what you should do in terms of whether you should bid on this coin, that's up to you to decide. What are your important priorities when it comes to your collection? paralyse Bedrock of the Community United States 12046 Posts	Posted 11/18/2024 4:52 pm They're very scarce but if I was going to be forking out that kind of money I'd want to buy a nicer example, if for no other reason than to ensure its future value. Of course, with only a hundred or so examples available to choose from, your options may be somewhat limited. I got to see (and hold) a PCGS 62 'CURENCY' at the ANA show a few years ago; that was quite a treat! They're quite mysterious and more than a bit controversial when it comes to exactly when, where, and why they were struck in the first place. I am very surprised that it sold for such a low amount even with its condition issues.
