I go in a local pawn/coin shop around once a month and he's had a collection of dansco albums that are full. Last month, he sold both Presidential dollars 8184 and 8185 albums full except for the last page of 8185 for $200. $120 in face value minus any numismatic value (small I know) That's without the value of the albums themselves.

I went back last week and purchased a complete set of SBA dollars including the proof varieties in 1979 and 1981 for just $40.

I usually don't like moderns but these were hard to pass on! Has anyone else stumbled upon sellers not wanting these modern complete albums and willing to part with them?

If the Danscos are it top condition, that's a good deal overall.

Wow. What a deal. I'd have pounced.

Plus I wish I had a decent LCS close by.

Heck of a deal. The proof varieties alone are worth at least $40 each.

Mr frog one thing to consider when you buy a very old coin in great condition. It happens because it was pulled from circulation by a collector and passed on to future generations. Now we know it will take a long time for these to be worth much but you have to start somewhere. Nice pick up jason39305.
