I have seen these sets from the 70's listed as either Specimen Double Dollar or Proof sets. They come in a slip case that has either grey or gold trim. Would someone be able to tell me which one they are?

They are called the Prestige Sets.
From 1971 - 1980, they were Specimen Quality.
From 1981 - 2012, they were Proof Quality.
Yours would be Specimen Quality.

Thank you for the response. You have confirmed what I thought but everytime I see them listed as Proof sets I start second guessing myself. I appreciate the help.
