Hello,
I was thinking this might possibly be the 1888/7 Indian Head cent but I might just seeing things / hoping against hope.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Very close, but I don't think so. The digits don't quite align correctly with the dentils.

Thanks for the input. Can you explain about the denticles? I was trying to align them with the photo of the actual one on PCGS but was having a hard time. The 1 is to the right of the denticle below it. The first 8 is a little to the right and the other two seem to align right with the denticles below.

Thank you for any clarification you can provide.

Not the 1888/7. On S-1 the rightmost base of the 1 is higher than the bottom left of the 1st 8 in the date. If you draw a straight line across the bottom of the 1st 8, the 1 will be noticeably further away from that line on S-1.
