Enjoy building the collection. As someone born while John Fitzgerald Kennedy was President of the United States, I have always had an affinity for this series. I am presently working on NGC graded clad proof issues with thirteen more of them to go. Between individual examples, uncirculated coin sets, proof coin sets, silver proof coin sets and graded examples, I have them all. It is an enjoyable and attainable set to acquire.

Kennedy half dollars are one of my favorite sets, going back to my early YN collecting days. I'm also working on the same P&D album, using Mint Sets to fill the holes. As is documented elsewhere on CCF, it's actually not easy to find nice, problem-free, uncirculated clad coins from the 70s, 80s, and even 90s. Then because of the satin finish Mint Sets of 2005-2010, I have to buy all the standard business strikes from those years individually. I also avoid the SMS coins of 1965-1967, so standard business strikes in gem BU are hard to find from those years.

Best of luck and enjoy the hunt! Keep us updated on your progress.
