this isn't a delamination. It's an existing pre-strike void in the stock.

Thanks Lawest , Hondo Bogus , spru and Halo1st , I agree that it looks more like " Blow Hole" preexisting on the planch and not a delamination event .

Thanks Coinfrog , I hope I don't get everybody tired posting the nickel I purchased from these guy , but many of them aren't attributed and been on the olds 2x2's witch means to me like he told me he pull almost all of them from circulation . On a side note I'm trying to get from him his collection of quarters varieties ( depending on what $$$ he asks for ) .

very nice error - that blank/planchet was possibly cut from close to the edge of the material.
