I've posted about the Collector Cards distributed by the Mint to encourage the collecting of the circulating 25-cent coins commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Alberta and Saskatchewan each joining the Canadian Confederation in 2005. You can read the discussions here:

- 2005 Alberta Centennial Collector Card
- 2005 Saskatchewan Centennial Collector Card

The outer back panel of each Collector Card promoted the range of collectible numismatic products available for the provincial anniversaries. For example:

Included among the collectibles was the 2005 Special Edition Uncirculated Set. The Set differs from the Standard Uncirculated Set in that it features the two circulating commemorative coins - Alberta and Saskatchewan - vs. the regular Caribou coin.

The elements of the Special Edition Set match those of the Standard Set: Black outer envelope, coins sealed in pliofilm and an insert card with the Set's coin specifications. The differences come via the contents.

With this Set now in my collection, I consider my endeavor to collect the Alberta and Saskatchewan commemorative coins at an end. I don't have the Special Wrapped Rolls for the two coins, but I don't intend to pursue them - they offer nothing new to the story I wanted to tell.

You can check out my full story on each of the 2005 Provincial commemorative coins here:

- 2005 Alberta Centennial Silver $5
- 2005 Saskatchewan Centennial Silver $5

commems, check to see if the cent is magnetic or non magnetic. As the specs mention, they should be plated steel however some had non magnetic cents that sold for large premiums.
