I previously posted about a 1976 Souvenir Set from the Denver Mint. (You can review it here: 1976 Souvenir Set - Denver.)

Here's a Souvenir Set that was distributed by the US Mint at the 84th Anniversary Convention of the American Numismatic Association ( ANA); the 1975 Convention was held in Los Angeles, California from August 19th through August 24th. The Sets were sold at the Mint's booth at the Convention.

The Set features Business-Strike examples of the CuNi Clad US Bicentennial Quarter Dollar and Half Dollar (both struck at the Denver Mint - "D" mint mark), along with a bronze San Francisco Mint / 1874-1937 medal (struck at the San Francisco Mint - "S" mint mark).

The Set was distributed in a blue envelope, and can be found with and without a Bicentennial Stamp postmarked with a special cancellation at the ANA Convention. (Shown here is an example of the stamped envelope postmarked on the final day of the Convention.)

It's part of my small collection of novel US Mint Souvenir Sets.

Would be nicer if they had included an Ike, but still, very nice!

Thanks! But remember...

Man does not live by Ike alone!
