Thanks, CoolBreeze! I was comparing this to a couple examples in 63 PQ from the same dealer, but they were 50% higher cost and, like a lot of notes in 63, the margins were very uneven which I find more distracting than a light fold.

Thanks for sharing the pics of these beautiful notes ... keep the updates coming on your "set".

If you would, please define the set you are working on ... not sure I understand clearly the depth and breadth.

Thx - Tiny

For large size U.S. notes, I'm collecting by type as defined by the Friedberg design numbers, adding some sub-types if I consider the differences significant enough. For example, the 1907 and 1922 series $10 gold certificates have the same Friedberg design number, but in my mind there are enough differences between the two to warrant having an example of each.

I started working on this set a bit over 6 years ago. At this time, I have about 40 large size notes in my collection.

I just picked up my first original series National Bank Note for my large size note type set. I thought this was a nice example for the grade, and an interesting bank name as well! These are the seller's pics.

I just picked up this $20 1902 Red Seal National Bank Note for my large size type collection. I like the low charter number 29!

Notes from this bank are plentiful with almost 1900 listed in the Track&Price census, fairly evenly divided between large and small size notes. However, there are only 21 $20 1902 RS note in the census, with only two of those are listed in a higher grade.

You've been picking up some nice red seals lately hokiefan_82. Do you also have a Red Seal $10 or $20 to pair with your new $5?
